This 2004 nickel is the second of the "Westward Journey" series. It shows the keelboat that Lewis and Clark used on their expedition. This "Keelboat Nickel" also shows captains Meriwether Lewis and William Clark standing on deck at the start of their famous 2 year trip of discovery with Sacagawea.
