Photoperiod female Grape Ape is a legendary 90% indica-dominant hybrid Indica strain created by crossing Mendo Purps, Skunk & Afghani. It is celebrated for its distinct grape-candy aroma and powerful sedative effects. This makes it a perfect strain for managing pain and getting some good sleep.
After sampling this smoke because of its curious name and rave reviews for sleep, we had to add it and invested in a large batch of feminized seeds to pheno hunt. We do not make moms beyond 5 generations from seed so we have since restarted our genetics once using colloidal silver feminizing techniques.

Flavor and Affect
When smoking Grape Ape, expect a mix of earthy base notes with a berry and sweet finish. There is a definite skunk edge with a slight warm and peppery finish. This strain will give effects that will produce a relaxing body buzz, help make you sleepy and increase your appetite.
Grape Ape is a powerful, high THC, pain relieving and calming smoke. As the name suggests, it smells and tastes like fresh grapes. The buds are so purple, they look black in soft light. Outdoor.
Growing these genetics:
This strain is a rockstar, you might need help trimming, we had several reports of plants 12 feet high. Grape Ape buds are big and dense! These buds have deep purple hues and earthy aromas. It's perfect for short season outdoor grows, finishing in about 7-8 weeks, and the short and compact size makes it a good candidate for indoor grows as well.
- Our 18/6 light cycle keeps it in veg indefinitely.
- It grows fast and clones very easily. Indoor and outdoor, plants are stacked and bushy like a beachball
- Growth rates after germination are normal.
- Photoperiod flip happens between 15 and 14 hours, so don't put clones outside before mid May if you want to avoid re-veg
- Our genetics finished in 7 weeks indoor and 8 weeks outdoor.
