Photoperiod female Big Bud is a popular, high yield, easy to grow 60% indica dominant hybrid. Big Bud is a tough strain to research due to the number of different phenotypes. THC content can be 15-20%. This was one of our original strains, we know the following about this pheno.
Big Bud grows extremely fast, is easy to train, tolerant to low and high stress techniques like FIM and super cropping and has great yields. Buds are dense and vary in size based on the light being used. We have had golf ball size under LED and outdoor in the shade, and we’ve had beer can size buds in full sun. The smoke is earthy sweet and relaxes the body but does not lock you to the couch, beware of increased appetite and ice cream cravings.
Our experience with these genetics:
- Our 18/6 light cycle keeps it veg indefinitely; and it grows extremely fast even when being cropped. Great for SCROG
- Buds are dense, beware of bud rot and bugs that like to hide in the flowers like aphids.
- Our newest genetics are from a seed mother making our clones 2nd generation.
- Our genetics finish in 8 to 9 weeks.
We regularly update these descriptions with genetic phenotype info, please let us know your experiences, ENJOY!!!
