The Florida Quarter depicts a 16th-century Spanish galleon, a space shuttle, a strip of land with Sabal palm trees and the inscription "Gateway to Discovery." In 1513, on Easter, while searching for the mythical Fountain of Youth, Ponce de Leon named the region "Pascua Florida," meaning "Flowery Easter." Other explorers also used this area to explore the new world and now the US is the leader in space discovery with the Kennedy Space Center located in Florida. I put the space shuttle into flight to attach it to the coin for a great cut-out.
- Cut Out only includes a black velveteen bag for safekeeping...most common for Golf Markers.
- Soldered Pendant is finished with a Solid Sterling Silver Bail (adds $3.00)
- Bezel Setting is a Solid Frame Holder around the Cut Only and are very sturdy for Keychains or Heavy Duty Pendants (adds $5.00)
- Add a standard Split Ring for 25 cents to complete the Bezel as a Keyring
